Community Services

Sponsor Dr. Al Schwartz, a walker at the Take Steps and Be Heard fundraiser June 13, 2010. Dr. Schwartz, his youngest daughter, and his father all developed Crohn's Disease as teenagers.  Dr. Al had extensive surgery in February due to the damage done by his illness. By donating you'll help with research and new medicines to help control this debilitating disease.  The Take Steps 5K Walk/Run is an event to raise funds and to raise awareness of Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis.  Through your participation, Dr. Schwartz raised over $1,000 last year for this cause.  These funds improve research and educational programs for the more than 1.4 million children and adults suffering from Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis.

Dr. Al asks you to write a "gut check" for this worthy cause by going to www.ccfa.org/takesteps
