Your pet is then gently treated by our registered veterinary technicians (RVTs) who obtain pre-anesthetic bloodwork
(mandatory for animals within three months of the dental cleaning). This helps to ensure the safety of anesthesia for any dental procedures.

This gives the veterinarian an overall assessment of your animal's overall health.
Blood work tells us how your pet's body is functioning on the inside, which is not always
clear on just the general examination. By doing blood tests, like what are done before a person is given an anesthetic, we do everything possible to maximize the safety of anesthesia.
